2011 Festival Judges

Randall A. See: 2011 Head Film Festival Judge
A returning judge from last year's festival, he earned an M.A. in European history and B.S. in political science from James Madison University. Mr. See's interests include intellectual and cultural history, film, literature, and nonfiction writing.  He is the co-founder and president of Quick Source Learning, a firm that develops software training aids for businesses around the United States and Canada. He has served on numerous local boards including Mercy House and Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance. He divides his time between Harrisonburg and Savannah, Ga. where he has homes.  

Karle Stewart: 2011 Film Festival Judge
Carlyle Stewart is a graduate of George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia with a degree in English and Film/Media Studies. From 1995 to 2006, he co-owned and operated Crystal Quarters, a corporate housing company in Arlington, Virginia. Since May 2006, Carle has focused on writing, developing and producing independent films. Carlyle was an investment partner in Familiar Strangers. 

Amanda Garber: 2011 Film Festival Judge
Amanda Garber is the pastor of RISE, a new faith community that meets every Sunday here at Court Square Theater. She has a Master of Divinity from Duke University, is married to her husband, Jack and has two kids: Abby and Robert.
